  Whether you are Catholic or Polish, this is a must see. The main church is very beautiful and modern. The stained glass windows are one of the largest I have ever seen. On one side they show the history of America, the other Polish history. The cemetery is very European in style and very interesting. There is a cafeteria and bookstore. The bookstore sells religious items as well as Polish sweets. Do not feel you must be Polish, white, Catholic or even christian to view the Shrine. On most days you will see a very mixed group of visitors including a good number of Haitian-Americans.

  Great place to stop when traveling or just to pay respects to a lost one or service members. They have some great food and a wonderful summer carnival type get together
